Work is repetitive, but not without its interests. Restoring a ship takes its time. Though the foundation of it takes due effort.

Snakes in a basement are common now, are they? Caspian had a good grip. Peter had a good swing. Snakes also like to spit, I've found. It's both disturbing and off. I've never seen anything so big and reptilian in size in Narnia. And the carcass? Smells. I know who has to haul that out later.

Otherwise, Father Christmas bears gifts as always. Everyone has everything back. Lucy with her cordial and Susan with her bow and arrows. Peter already has Rhindon.

I really need to stop getting into trouble, don't I.

Now, what about my gold chess set.

Triumphed over cold. Proud to share. The nurses tell me I've been sleeping it off as of late, so apparently I've missed quite a bit - songs and such. So I've recovered. Finally. (And cursed too, it seems. Brilliant.)

Winter here reminds me of a lot of things. Snowball fights and snow angels ~~and witches and a hundred years worth of winter and Turkish Delights~~. It’s freezing. I wish I had another coat from another wardrobe somewhere. If only.

[character abilities]: Swordsmanship, archery (although his skill pales in comparison to his sister’s, Susan’s, Edmund’ll give you a run if you test him), an experienced strategist after years of reign as a King, riding, leadership; would rather follow - not quite a leader but is willing in Peter’s place, and a degree of stealth when it comes to sneaking about in general

Initially spoiled and rude, disrespectful and childish, Edmund’s characteristics are ones only able to be identified with his vagabond youth; attributes that were birthed out of blatant reaction to the loss of his father and the detachment Edmund felt amongst his siblings. A detachment that had grown and overflowed as his siblings found Edmund’s antics increasingly impossible to deal with it the more time passed.

Now reformed, having sold out his family, an unfortunate and condemning mistake on his part, for some Turkish Delight, Edmund has matured; having learned a lifelong lesson. After years of living through the Age of Gold, a companion to the throne with his High King and Queens, Edmund has lived and learned, has aged wise and thoughtful.

Edmund considers his actions now before he does them. Is second to Peter when it comes to strategizing, is loyal beyond belief and a just and honest man: King Edmund the Just, of the great western wood, Duke of Lantern Waste and Count of the Western March, and Knight of the Noble Order of the Table.

Edmund is also the one who keeps the most calm in the movie Prince Caspian and destroys the invocation of the White Witch, Edmund exercises deadly certainty and care; stands loyal to his family and country, Narnia. Knows better to be pushed into temptation, having learned from before.

He is someone whom the Pevensies are proud to call brother. Someone who would do anything in the world and beyond for them.

[point in timeline you're picking your character from]: Shortly after the ending of Prince Caspian (the movie) as Edmund walks through the gate. He doesn’t end up returning to earth.

So it's all rather sorted now.

The technology here compared to anywhere I've been at is certainly more advanced. It's interesting. I'm staying with Caspian, Peter and Susan in a flat somewhere. ~~Lucy, where in the bloody bowels of Narnia are you?~~ Three men in one room - it's actually more comfortable than you'dve expect. Thank you, Bree for getting me here.

And I don't care whatever Su might say, it's neat for a bunch of men. Su just needs to get used to us. We need more food too. Always. We should never run out. Does anyone know where you could go to get some?

OOC: Voice post. Edmund's finally figured out what that odd thing you plug in is as he walks about the stables outside. Bothered by my portrayal of the third Pevensie, unsure of certain reactions coming from Edmund's part and wanting reasons for the why/what/when/huh? Then hit me up here.

I’m rather nervous about my interpretation of Edmund as a character. It’s somewhat hard to define him having read none of the books myself, although invested thoroughly in their backgrounds and plots nevertheless, but I’m trying. He’s still really sketchy. I’ve never played him before and have only been ficcing him thus far. So I’m flicking up this post despite my reservations as I already know he’s got major kinks that should and will be worked out.

P.S. The Edmund I write is also mostly taken from the movies himself, rather than the books since I have yet to read them.

If there are any issues/plotting you’d like to see rightfully addressed/done. Feel free. Criticism/ideas/suggestions are welcome, thanks.

If Peter were in my situation right now, he’d probably have this all sorted. I don’t. I'm not Peter.

I don’t know where I am right now. But I know one thing and it’s that this place is not Narnia. Far from it.

Answers. Answers would be good.

I have to sort this out myself.

First. Where am I?
